Usama Ghassan Najm, a native of Al-Rayna village in the Nazareth district of occupied Palestine, carried out a martyrdom operation on Monday, 23 September 2024 CE (corresponding to 2 Mehr 1403 SH) at the Lachish Airbase of the Zionist regime in the West Bank. He attacked an Israeli soldier with a knife in an attempt to seize the soldier's weapon and open fire on other troops. Najm was subsequently killed by gunfire from Israeli forces stationed at the base.


Biography

Usama Ghassan Najm was born in Al-Rayna village, located in the Nazareth district of occupied Palestine[1].


Participation in the martyrdom operation

Usama entered a military base of the Lachish unit of the Zionist regime army, where he was employed as a contract worker. He injured an Israeli soldier and was subsequently killed.


Martyrdom

Usama Ghassan Najm was martyred on Monday, 23 September 2024 CE (corresponding to 2 Mehr 1403 SH) during a martyrdom operation at the Lachish Airbase of the Zionist regime in the West Bank, following gunfire from Israeli forces stationed at the base.
