Relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran
Martyr Fathi Shaqaqi managed to meet Imam Khomeini (peace be upon him) in Tehran in 1988. Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Rahimian, a former member of the Imam's office, says about this meeting: He first went to Qom and then came to Tehran and met the Imam. At the end, I saw him with a high-spirited morale.

Assassination of Fathi Shaqaqi
Yitzhak Rabin, the then Prime Minister of Israel, ordered the assassination of Fathi Shaqaqi after the operation by the Hamas group on 25 January 1995 in the Beit Lid area, which resulted in the death and injury of 130 Israelis.
Channel 13 of Israeli television reports on the assassination of Martyr Fathi Shaqaqi as follows; Fathi Shaqaqi was considered one of the unique and "charismatic" commanders. The only living eyewitness to the execution of Shaqaqi's assassination is a woman who was only a few centimeters away from the Mossad agent at the time of the assassination.
Channel 13 continues to refer to some operations carried out against the Israeli regime in various places. One of these operations is "Beit Lid", which the Israeli reporter says Fathi Shaqaqi himself openly took responsibility for (this operation was carried out in 1995 in Beit Lid "Netanya" (in occupied Palestine) and during it dozens of Zionists were killed and wounded).
In part of this report, Fathi Shaqaqi is giving a speech and says: True peace means that Israel must cease to exist.
Martyrdom as a Factor of Unity
The martyrdom of Martyr Fathi Shaqaqi sparked a wave of protest among Muslim nations. People in various countries, by holding demonstrations while condemning the action of the Zionists in assassinating one of the commanders of the Palestinian resistance, emphasized continuing his path.
