Abdulrahman Ahmad Jabril Baroud was born in 1937 CE in the village of Beit Daras, Gaza Province, and studied up to the fifth grade of elementary school in his village. Then, in 1948 CE, at the age of 11, he migrated from his village. After obtaining a PhD degree, he started working at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah. He became acquainted with the Muslim Brotherhood during his studies in Cairo.

He was born in 1937 CE in the village of Beit Daras, Gaza Province.
Education
During the Beit Daras war, he completed his bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Arts, Arabic Language Department, at Cairo University with high honors. He then completed his graduate studies to obtain master's and doctoral degrees from the same university.
Activities
He composed his first poem after migration and during elementary school. After obtaining his degree from Cairo University, he worked as a university professor at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah and spent nearly thirty years at the university within the Arabic Language departments. He was responsible for Islamic studies, from which many students graduated. During this period, he benefited from numerous scientific and research contributions. Later, he engaged in public work and spent most of his time writing, composing poetry, and pursuing public affairs. He had a clear, prominent, and influential role among the Palestinian community in Saudi Arabia in general and in Jeddah in particular.
Cooperation with the Muslim Brotherhood
He is considered one of the founders of the Muslim Brotherhood movement in Palestine, having become acquainted with it during his studies in Cairo, and after returning to his country, he strove to expand this movement. He was arrested in a conflict in 1965 CE and sentenced to seven years imprisonment in Egyptian prisons until he was released after the death of Gamal Abdel Nasser. After his release from prison, he married Ms. Nadia Abdelmajeed Abdelsami, the sister of Ahmed Abdelmajeed Abdelsami, one of the organization's leaders.
Death
He passed away on 17 April 2010 CE (2nd of Jumada al-Awwal 1431 AH).
