Viewpoint on Islamic Unity
Objective of Arrogance
"Abdollah Haji Sadeghi", representative of the Supreme Leader in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) at the 35th International Conference on Islamic Unity, while offering congratulations on the occasion of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his progeny), called the Mission a great divine blessing.
Stating that this year's conference is held while, by divine grace and thanks to the struggles and awakenings of the Islamic world, the front of Arrogance has undergone gradual death and has been forced to retreat and accept defeat against the will of Muslim nations, he introduced unity and Islamic Awakening as the factor for this defeat of the Arrogance front.
Haji Sadeghi, warning against the enemy's design of a dangerous "proxy war" plan, stated: This means hitting a Muslim by means of a Muslim and using religion against religion.
Emphasizing the prominent role of scholars and elites of the Islamic world in current conditions, he emphasized: We must now enter this field and not allow anyone to pit any individual, sect, or group against Muslims on any pretext.
The representative of the Supreme Leader in the IRGC, stating that although the grounds for some differences may return to internal prejudices, tastes, interpretations, and neglects, stated: The one who fully benefits from this difference is the designer of discord who wants neither Shia nor Sunni, but has come to eliminate Islam. He continued: Arrogance knows that if Muslims achieve real strength and power, no power can resist them.
Regarding Unity
Haji Sadeghi, referring to the Quran verse that says: Template:Quran (And prepare against them what you are able of power...), said: What factor and power is better than unity, since the Quran introduces unity as God's inner blessing.
He continued, referring to the emphasis on Islamic unity by Imam Khomeini (peace be upon him) and his righteous successor Ayatollah Khamenei, who have been advocates of unity for more than four decades, said: The Islamic Revolution tries and costs more than ever to strengthen this cohesion and integrity among Muslims day by day.
The Palestine Issue
The representative of the Supreme Leader in the IRGC, in another part of his speech, referred to the issue of Palestine and called it the soul of the Islamic world and the center of confrontation between the front of Disbelief and the front of Islam.
Stating that today all calls must be in line with saving Palestine and destroying the occupier regime that has come usurping, oppressed the people, and expelled them from their homes, he stated: By divine grace, with this cohesion and unity and by supporting those who fight the occupier regime in the Palestine front, we will soon witness the destruction of the occupier regime and the triumph and victory of Muslims.
Haji Sadeghi emphasized: We proudly say that anyone who fights the occupier regime, anyone who supports Palestine, has the support of the Islamic Revolution behind them, and we are ready for this support.
Covenant with Advocates of Unity
At the end of his speech, he mentioned Haj Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and their companions, and named striving for the unity of the Islamic world as the biggest concern of these martyrs.
The representative of the Supreme Leader in the IRGC, stating that they knew what great capacity exists in the Islamic world and among Muslims, said: Arrogance spends these capacities on each other and does not allow these capacities to be used against Disbelief.
He also called Ayatollah Taskhiri the voice of the advocates of unity and addressed him: We make a covenant with you not to let your flag remain on the ground, and we will strive with all our existence until the destruction of the enemy's plans to create discord.
