Islamic Awakening World Assembly
The statement of the Islamic Awakening World Assembly was published following the martyrdom of Abu Hamza, spokesperson of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, and a group of commanders and mujahideen of the Palestine resistance; the text of this statement reads:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Template:متن قرآن Once again, the criminal and bloodthirsty Zionist regime, by committing a savage crime, martyred a group of commanders and proud fighters of the Palestine resistance. The martyrdom of Abu Hamza, spokesperson of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, along with valiant commanders and mujahideen such as Martyr Issam al-Da'alis, Martyr Yasser Harb member of the Political Bureau of Hamas, Muhammad Mahmoud Batran, Commander of the Artillery Unit and member of the Movement's Military Council, and resistant fighters such as Ahmed al-Hatha, Mahmoud Abu Watfa, Behjat Abu Sultan, is another example of the savagery of the Jerusalem occupier regime and its desperate attempt to extinguish the flame of the resistance of the Palestinian nation. The Zionist regime, which has become incapable and desperate in the face of the steadfastness and resistance of the Palestinian people and the mujahideen of the resistance, has once again launched savage attacks against Gaza and, by bombing residential areas, has resorted to killing women, children, and defenseless civilians. These horrific crimes, which take place under the silence and shameless support of the Western supporters of this regime and the America, indicate the predatory nature and racist policies of the Zionists in suppressing the oppressed Palestinian nation.
The Islamic Awakening World Assembly, while strongly condemning these savage attacks and the assassination of resistance commanders, emphasizes that the martyrdom of these mujahideen will not only not weaken the resistance front, but will double the determination and will of the Palestinian people and all fighters for the freedom of Noble Sanctuary to stand firm and fight until the complete elimination of Zionist occupation. We ask all Muslim nations, Islamic countries, and freedom lovers of the world not to remain silent in the face of these horrific crimes and to support the oppressed Palestinian nation with all their power. We also ask international and human rights organizations to fulfill their responsibility in the face of these unprecedented crimes and bring the Zionist regime to trial for these war crimes. We offer condolences for the martyrdom of these commanders and resistance fighters to the honorable families of the martyrs, the resistant Palestinian nation, the leaders of Islamic Jihad, and all fighters for the freedom of Palestine, and we ask God Almighty for high degrees for these dear martyrs and patience and reward for the survivors[3].
