The Epic of 9 Dey
The Epic of 9 Dey, was a passionate and magnificent epic of the honorable nation of Iran. The Ashura-like presence of the epic-making and loyalty-bound people of the Iran in the rally of 9 Dey 1388 SH, is considered a turning point in the history of the Revolution and another golden page in the honors of the people of Iran. This event followed the announcement of the results of the '88 elections and the claim of fraud in these elections by those who were not victorious in the elections. The Epic of 9 Dey is a symbol of the dignity, independence, and insight of the people who have stood up to the last drop of blood to preserve the principles of Islam and the ideals of the Revolution, and declared with a loud voice that if the enemy stands against their religion, they will stand against their entire world. The God-given day of 9 Dey was named as the day of "Insight" in the history of the Islamic Revolution.

Election Results
What seems to be the main cause of the formation of the Epic of 9 Dey was the result of the '88 elections and the announcement of fraud in the elections by those who were not victorious in the elections. Opponents of the Islamic Republic of Iran believe that the political space in Iran is ready in all fields for exploiting and operationalizing patterns such as the Color Revolution. On this basis, the Islamic Republic is a system in which elections form one of its layers and procedures in any case. This flow had accompanied this divine revolution since the beginning of the Revolution's victory. In the sedition of '88, a number of elites who did not win votes in the presidential election announced fraud in the election and a number of others supported them, and following that, protests were held in various parts of the country. At this time, countries opposing Iran rose to support the protesters and turned these protests into riots and disturbances, and for several months the country suffered from street conflicts, looting and arson of some places, and some were killed. Day 9 Dey was formed considering the backgrounds that post-election incidents created, among these backgrounds, factors such as questioning the principle of religion, the Islamic system, and also the principle of Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist can be mentioned which caused the people of Iran to disappoint the enemies of the Islamic system with their rally.
Desecration
One of the other main backgrounds of the formation of the Epic of 9 Dey can be mentioned the desecration of the month of Muharram and the day of Ashura which caused the wounding of the religious sentiments of the people of Iran. The peak of these individuals' movement on Ashura day indicated that they did not believe in Islamic values and symbols including Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and Ashura, and for this reason they turned the mourning day of Hussein (peace be upon him) into a celebration and attacked the rows of prayers of mourners and individuals who apparently had a respectable and faithful appearance, and chanted slogans that indicated a fundamental struggle with the Islamic system and the principle of Guardianship, and this brought the people to the scene. This desecration to Ashura and Hussein mourners worried the people of Iran, and 9 Dey was a reaction to this movement and a declaration of support for the Guardianship and the person of Imam Khamenei.
Day of Insight and the Nation's Covenant with Guardianship
Mansour Vaezi said: 9 Dey, due to the great epic-making of the Iranian nation against the hypocrisy flow and renewed covenant with the Leader of the Revolution, was included in the calendar of 1390 SH as the day of "Insight and the Nation's Covenant with Guardianship"[1].
Launch of Campaign
The campaign "We Will Not Forget" was launched on the anniversary of the 9 Dey 1388 SH rally by the Officers social network. In this internet campaign, supporters of this rally published their designs, images, posters and writings with the subject of the Epic of 9 Dey 1388 SH, and say what things they will not forget from the events of '88. Supporters of this campaign, by writing one of the most hateful and unforgettable actions of the heads of the sedition and their supporters, declare their disgust and disavowal from them and in this way remind that they will never forget the sedition of '88 and the creators of this great sedition[2].
