Importance of the analysis
This essay highlights the importance of analyzing Imam Hussein’s stances in Karbala. the dimensions of this profound analysis, and the necessity of connecting it to the reality of the Islamic Ummah throughout history and in our modern day where narrow conceptions, destructive bigotry, and successive deviations abound due to the Ummah’s non-adherence to the Quran, the Sunnah of the Prophet, and the Prophet’s Household.
Objective and methodology of the article
The essay aims to analyze Imam Hussein’s stances in Karbala, and this should be done free from any subjectivity and with an awareness that Imam Hussein’s aim is compatible with the Prophet’s aim. In this way, we can follow God’s commands, taking Imam Hussein as an example and coming to the victory of Truth regardless of the price to be paid, the hostile forces amassed, and the surrounding conspiracies. Analyzing Imam Hussein’s movement should be grounded on intellectual and methodological moderation, and should be free from any bigotry.
Limits of research
Difficulties and obstacles face this analysis, and an inaccurate reading of the incidents might lead some to deviate from the heart of the issue and form hasty judgments incompatible with reality and inconsistent with academic research methodology.
