Islamic Conference in Baghdad
The Islamic Conference for dialogue and approximation between doctrines’ followers was held in Baghdad on Saturday and Sunday 27-28 / 4/2013. The Islamic nation suffers from sectarianism and fanaticism disease at the present time which shattered their unity and weakened its strength against its enemies.
Defining the rapprochement
The invitation of rapprochement between doctrines through dialogue does not mean doctrines’ melting, or their integration in one doctrine but the access to convergence at different points of religious views to unify attitudes and ideas. Muslims should be united in building the future of their nation and defend the risk of aggression.
Outcome of the conference
The participants issued at the conclusion of the conference, a document, called the document of Baghdad, which is the mainstay to meet the challenges faced by the Islamic nation to deter the fire of sectarian strife.
