Islam’s view on human society and unity

Islam looks at the human society as a unity of homogeneous nature and thoughts and purpose and also, all the disputes and causes of divisions and separations in the society as opposed to human dignity. Based on such a monotheistic thinking, the factors such as race, language, ethnicity, color, etc. as the cause of divisions and splits among the Islamic ummah, are not to be accepted. So there are numerous verses in Quran recommending the Muslims to avoid the factors causing the split and separations in the society, lest this separation is undermining Islam; because the division is a context for the influence of the enemy and will create a gap in the nation of Islam. According to this principle, the wise scholars always used the concept of making unity and avoiding the division as a centerpiece of and made an extra effort in order to identify the grounds of divisions within the Muslim groups.
