Usama Sharbi is an Egyptian national who maintained direct collaboration with the Muslim Brotherhood, leading to his arrest in 2007 CE. Following a 16-month trial, the court issued a verdict acquitting him.
Family
His father, Abd al-Muhsin Sharbi, was the former Director General of Education in the Gharbia Governorate and one of the founding members of the Muslim Brotherhood. He joined the Muslim Brotherhood in 1936 CE while studying at the Faculty of Arts in Cairo. He worked with Hassan al-Banna at the General Headquarters as the head of the student section, a member of the founding committee, and the head of the administrative office of the Muslim Brotherhood in Al-Fawadiyah Province, which encompassed Al-Fawadiyah, Gharbia, Kafr el-Sheikh, and parts of Monufia Governorates.
Children
Muhammad, born on January 1, 1972 CE, obtained a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture in 1996 CE. His other child, Rehab, born on August 1, 1973 CE, holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work.

- He has served as Secretary-General and a member of the Board of Directors of the Agricultural Syndicate in Alexandria since 1992 CE.
- Member of the Coordination Committee of Professional Syndicates in Alexandria.
- Member of the Ain Jalut Association since 1357 AH.
- Member of the Religious Tourism Committee of the Chamber of Tourism Companies.
- Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf Association from 1975 to 1995 CE.
- Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Youth Science and Faith Association from 1351 to 1354 AH.
Military Trial
The ninth military trial of Muslim Brotherhood leaders took place in 2006 CE. In this context, his case file was processed, leading to his arrest in 2007 CE. After a 16-month trial, the court issued a verdict acquitting him.
