Laleh Eftekhari is a member of the Front of Followers of the Line of the Imam and Leadership. She was the representative of the people of Tehran in the 7th, 8th, and 9th terms of the Islamic Consultative Assembly. She holds a PhD in Quranic Sciences with first rank from the University of Tehran. She is the daughter of martyr Mohammad Hossein Eftekhari (Operation Karbala-4, 1986 (CE)) and the wife of martyr Mohammad Ali Amerian (Operation Karbala-4, 1986 (CE)), and is active and influential in the field of unity and Islamic rapprochement.
