Khaled Hanafi is the young leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Germany. He is an academic and Egyptian preacher from Al-Azhar Mosque and resides in Germany.


Overview

Khaled Hanafi is one of the most important figures of the Muslim Brotherhood in Germany and at the European level. He is an academic and Al-Azhar Mosque preacher of Egyptian origin residing in Germany. He holds a Master's and PhD in Principles of Jurisprudence in the Sunni school from Al-Azhar, and holds leadership positions in many legal and academic structures affiliated with the international Muslim Brotherhood organization. He is also: Head of the Faculty of Humanities Europe in Germany, Head of the Fatwa Committee in Germany, Assistant Secretary General of the European Council for Fatwa and Research, and a member of the board of trustees of this council, as well as the former head of the North American Fiqh Council and the Association of Scholars and Preachers in Germany.


Activities

  • Hanafi delivers weekly sermons at the "Al-Muhajireen" Mosque in Bonn, which is managed by Muslim Brotherhood staff.
  • He also supervises the Fatwa Committee at the mosque and is always present as a speaker at various intellectual events held by Islamic centers affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood in Europe.
  • In addition, Hanafi regularly appears on the Al-Hiwar channel in London to discuss issues related to the reality of Islam and Muslims in Europe and the problems of coexistence between Muslims and non-Muslims in the West.
