In Search of an Answer

This question constantly occupied his mind, and he sought an answer to calm his heart, until in 1959 AD, he joined the Faculty of Engineering; at the faculty, especially in its prayer room, he became acquainted with several good Islamic youths, so he raised the questions he had regarding the Muslim Brotherhood and received sufficient and satisfactory answers from them. Just as these youths were connected with the Muslim Brotherhood and some of them were from Syria.

Joining the Muslim Brotherhood

He had a clear image of this group and good information regarding the call of the Muslim Brotherhood, and he was certain that the call of this group was a divine call that addresses a comprehensive knowledge of Islam to reform the individual and society and then the entire nation. When this truth was revealed to him, he thought about how such lofty goals face this terrible war, and how the children of this movement are tried by those unjust judicial trials. It was then that in 1962 AD, he decided to join the Muslim Brotherhood. He was repeatedly subjected to harassment, torture, and severe oppression due to his support for the Muslim Brotherhood.

Prison

He continued to collaborate with the Muslim Brotherhood to support and reorganize the group until he was arrested in the case of Organization 65 and entered the darkest military prison, where he saw what he had heard of torture, brutality, and harassment.
