Gholamreza Mesbahi Moghaddam (born 1951 CE in Mashhad) was one of the fighters against the Imperial State of Iran during the peak of the Islamic Revolution and is a member of the approximation unions of the Assembly for the Approximation of Islamic Schools of Thought.
Birth
Gholamreza Mesbahi Moghaddam was born on 20 Tir 1330 (11 July 1951 CE) in the holy city of Mashhad in a religious family.
Activities Against the Shah
Regarding his other struggles during that period, one can refer to his presence in the clashes between seminary students and SAVAK and the Imperial Guard forces on 19 Dey 1356 (9 January 1978 CE) at the Feyziyeh School of Qom. These revolutionary activities led to him being summoned twice by the Pahlavi regime's intelligence apparatus (SAVAK), once in the city of Qom and the second time in Gachsaran. Ayatollah Mesbahi Moghaddam rushed to the fronts of the war of truth against falsehood with the start of the imposed war and spent 6 months alongside other fighters of our country confronting the Ba'athist aggressor enemy.
Education
Revolutionary activities did not prevent him from studying at higher academic levels. He studied the advanced level of jurisprudence and principles in the presence of Grand Ayatollahs Fazel Lankarani, Jafar Subhani, and philosophy in the presence of Master Ansari Shirazi, and the outside course of jurisprudence and principles in the presence of Ayatollah Vahid Khorasani, reaching the rank of Ijtihad. This revolutionary cleric obtained a Master's degree in Economics in 1362 (1983 CE) and three years later became a member of the Supreme Council of Education, a membership that continues to this day. He completed the advanced level of Fiqh and Usul in the presence of Grand Ayatollahs Fazel Lankarani, Jafar Subhani, and Vahid Khorasani and reached the rank of Ijtihad [4]. He is an instructor of Fiqh and Fiqh al-Iqtisad courses in the seminary and university. He is the founder and head of the Fiqh Committee of the Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran [5].
