Amin Mara'i was born in the village of Al-Jazirah Al-Khadra, belonging to the Markaz Mutubas in the Kafr El Sheikh Governorate, on the second bank of the Nile in Egypt, into a family whose father held a profound affection for him. He began his education there and graduated with a degree in law.
Involvement with the Muslim Brotherhood
After completing his university studies, he joined the ranks of the Brotherhood. He became one of the prominent lawyers who accepted many individuals for training in his office, including Muhammad Mukhtar Abd al-Alim (one of the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood), under whose influence he came during the mid-1940s.
Activities
He participated in numerous activities of the Muslim Brotherhood group and defended its detainees. During the movement demanding the withdrawal of British occupying forces, a Brotherhood delegation led by him proceeded to Ras el-Tin Palace in Alexandria. He authored a protest note addressed to King Farouk concerning the violent incidents perpetrated by the occupying British forces against the people of Egypt in 1946 CE. He was active in the sports section of the Muslim Brotherhood, assuming responsibility for managing and overseeing its sports teams. Accordingly, in Alexandria, the administration of the Brotherhood sports teams organized a cycling celebration at the Municipal Stadium on Monday, November 4, 1946 CE.

Since his dismissal on November 6, 1946 CE, no information has been available regarding his life circumstances or death.
