Ahmadreza Zolfaghari Daryani was a faculty member at Shahid Beheshti University, one of the Martyrs of Dignity, an Iranian nuclear scientist, and a researcher on national and strategic projects related to the development of nuclear technology. He was martyred alongside his wife and child in the early hours of 23 Khordad 1404 SH, corresponding to 17 Dhu al-Hijjah 1446 AH, during the Israeli attack on Iran at his residence in Tehran.
