Abdulqayyum Sajjadi is a researcher, writer, and university professor from Afghanistan. He has resided in the Qom Seminary since 1984 CE and has completed his seminary and university education in Islamic studies and International Relations. Sajjadi is a faculty member of the Baqir al-Ulum Institute of Higher Education and Mofid University and has a history of teaching courses related to International Relations, Diplomacy, and Islamic Political Thought. He also participated in the drafting of the new Constitution of that country as a member of the Afghan Loya Jirga.
Biography
Education
Sajjadi is from Afghanistan and pursued his education concurrently with seminary and university activities. He entered the Qom Seminary in 1984 CE. In 1994 CE, he obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the Baqir al-Ulum Institute of Higher Education. He was accepted into the Master's program in 1996 CE and began research activities and publishing articles in specialized journals. Sajjadi was accepted into the PhD program in International Relations at Shahid Beheshti University in 1999 CE.
Scientific and Research Activities
A large part of Sajjadi's activities focuses on religious, political research and globalization studies. Some of his most important works and research projects include:
- Partisanship in Islamic Thought: Authoring a book on this subject, which was selected as the chosen book at the Tarjuman International Congress in 2001-2002 CE;
- Islam and Globalization: Authoring the book "Introduction to Islam and Globalization" in cooperation with the Islamic Propagation Office Research and Studies Center;
- Islamic World and Globalization: Joint research project with the Institute of Islamic Culture and Thought;
- Islamic Republic of Iran and Globalization: Research project with the Research and Studies Center;
- Diplomacy and Political Behavior in Islam: Compilation of authored textbook;
- PhD Dissertation: Currently compiling a dissertation titled "Political Islam and Globalization in Afghanistan after the Taliban".
Teaching Activities
Sajjadi has a history of teaching specialized courses in various universities and seminary centers:
- Baqir al-Ulum Institute of Higher Education: Faculty member and teaching International Relations and Diplomacy courses since 2000 CE;
- Jame'eh al-Zahra Seminary (peace be upon her): Teaching topics on Islamic Movement, Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist and Islamic Revolution;
- Mofid University: Teaching courses related to International Relations field.

He has published numerous articles in specialized journals, including:

He has also presented articles at various domestic and international conferences, including:
- Islam and Partisanship Conference (1999 CE);
- International Congress of Islamic Government and Imam Khomeini (2003 CE) with the article "Desired Government in the Political Thought of Imam Khomeini (may God have mercy on him)";
- International Conference on Approximation of Schools of Thought (Tehran, 2003 CE) with the topic "Islamic World and Globalization";
- Religion Researchers Conference (Imam Khomeini School) with the topic "Global Government of Islam and Globalization".
Political and Social Activities
- Afghan Loya Jirga: Due to his membership in the Loya Jirga to review the new Constitution of Afghanistan, he traveled to that country and participated in this process.
- Strategic Studies Center: In cooperation with several specialists at the Strategic Studies and Research Center, he established a base for conducting religious research and studies.
