Abdullah al-Muhsini is a Saudi terroristTemplate:Citation needed who entered Syria as a mediator to establish reconciliation between involved terrorist groups, especially the two terrorist groups Daesh and Al-Nusra. At that time, the intensity of conflicts between terrorist groups and the rift and differences between them had reached its peak. This terrorist's role was to reduce this tension. Over time, he became one of the top leaders of terrorist groups, and before every terrorist operation against the Syrian army in the northern cities of the country, he would appear in media and social networks affiliated with the armed opposition.
Who is al-Muhsini
He is Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Sulayman al-Muhsini, known as Abdullah al-Muhsini, a Saudi Saudi preacher born in al-Qassim town, Saudi Arabia. He entered Syria in late October 2013 CE and began his activities as a fighter and Sharia judge who issued rulings between various terrorist groups such as Daesh, Al-Nusra, and Ahrar al-Sham. Initially, he was fond of Daesh.
However, when he came to Syria, his view towards Daesh changed. A few months after entering Syria, Abdullah al-Muhsini took a stance against Daesh and showed his willingness to join the Al-Nusra terrorist group. Then, after the occupation of the city of Idlib by this terrorist group, he completely transferred his activities to this city. Along with a group of terrorist leaders, he formed the terrorist group Jaysh al-Fatah, which consists of Al-Nusra, Ahrar al-Sham, and a number of armed terrorist groups.
Jaysh al-Fatah Group
After the establishment of the Jaysh al-Fatah terrorist group, Abdullah al-Muhsini was appointed as the Chief Judge of this terrorist group, and from then on, his harsh stances and terrorist actions against the Syrian army began. He participated in the battles of Idlib, Hama, and the countryside of Latakia. Perhaps one of the most prominent positions of this Saudi terrorist is that he said: Democracy is a type of infidelity and must be fought against.
Declaring the People of Syria as Infidels
One of al-Muhsini's other strange stances is that after heavy damages were inflicted on terrorist groups in northern Syria, he said: The reason for the presence of Russian fighters in the sky of Syria and attacking the positions of groups that he called jihadist is that the people of Syria are infidels and constantly insult the sacred divine essence.
These strange positions aroused the anger of the people of Syria in general and the terrorists supporting al-Muhsini in particular. The reason for this anger was that he had come from Saudi Arabia to Syria and was declaring the people of Syria as infidels, and he used every incident to improve his image among the people of Syria, but every time his efforts came to a dead end, and after every military operation that he announced, he suffered defeat.
Claim of Prophethood
The most controversial position of al-Muhsini is that he wrote on his Twitter page: I saw in a dream that I was sitting with some friends and I had a Quran in my hand that I was reciting for them or reading in tartil manner, and while reading, this new verse was revealed: "Walaw tara idha qasafnahum wa lam yakun lahum min dun Allahi min waliyyin wa la nasirin dhalika bi-annahum sabbu Allahi wa rasuluh". Translation: When you see that people are bombed and have no friend or helper, know that the reason is that they insult God and His Prophet.Template:Citation needed
Reaction to the Claim of Prophethood
Although he quickly deleted these writings, this controversy continued on social media, and some said that al-Muhsini claimed Prophethood, and others considered him similar to Musaylimah the Liar.
- Some others announced that al-Muhsini used these verses for interpretation and justification of his personal goals and believe that he intends to make people hate faith.
- Some other social media users, including the Salafi stream, while criticizing this Saudi terrorist, announced that considering the people of Syria as the origin of infidelity is wrong.
- Centers known as "Call to Jihad" are one of the most famous centers for training and recruiting 14-year-old teenagers to use them as forces in northern Syria against the country's army. These teenagers receive training on using weapons.
- The "Ashbal al-Faruq" camp, which terrorist oppositionists created, is very similar to the "Ashbal al-Khilafah" camp that Daesh created, and its purpose is the instrumental use of teenagers under the claim of Jihad and fighting in the way of God.
Media War
Al-Muhsini adopted the method of media war from the beginning of his entry into Syria, but over time, especially after the recent battles of Aleppo, his defeat was proven, since he had emphasized that he would break the siege of the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo city, but he failed. He and his terrorist group also suffered heavy losses in various battle axes in Aleppo, Idlib, Hama, and Latakia.
