Abdullah Baha (1954 – 7 December 2014) was one of the prominent political and academic figures in Morocco. Serving as the Deputy Chairman of the Justice and Development Party (associated with the Muslim Brotherhood in Morocco) and as a Minister of State, he exerted significant influence in the country's political and social spheres.

Biography

Abdullah Baha was born in 1954 in the city of Ifrane, located in Guelmim Province. He came from a religious and academic family and pursued studies in agriculture and veterinary medicine. He was influenced by the political events of his time and engaged in social and cultural activities.

Education

He completed his higher education at Hassan II University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine in Rabat, receiving an engineering degree in food technology. He also worked as a professor at the same university and remained in this position until 2002.

Activities

As a politician and university professor, Abdullah Baha played a significant role in promoting Islamic teachings and cultural activities. Serving as the Deputy Chairman of the Justice and Development Party, which has Muslim Brotherhood tendencies, and as the Deputy Chairman of this party in the House of Representatives, he elaborated on the country's social and political issues. He also served as a minister in the Abdelilah Benkirane government and played an effective role in the development of social and cultural institutions in Morocco.

Death
