Reactions

President of Iran

Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, the President, in a message congratulating and offering condolences on the martyrdom of Yemeni Prime Minister Ahmed Ghalib Nasser al-Rahawi and a number of his colleagues to the free people of Yemen, the Muslims of the world, and all free and justice-seeking humanity, stated: The terrorist crime committed by the Zionist regime against Yemen, which resulted in the martyrdom of the Prime Minister and several senior officials of the country, once again revealed the vile and criminal nature of the gang ruling over occupied Palestine[2].

Chairman of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen

Mahdi al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen, addressing Yemen's enemies and the Zionist regime in part of his speech, said: You will not be able to break our steadfastness; for we are with God, draw strength from Him, and He grants us stability. Aerial attacks and threats do not frighten us; our honor lies in martyrdom from God, and His certain promise to us is ultimate victory. We pledge to God, the dear people of Yemen, and the families of the martyrs and the wounded that we will take revenge. Our position remains unchanged and will be maintained until the aggression ceases and the siege of Gaza is lifted.

Dark days await you; you will witness the consequences of the actions of your own filthy and traitorous government. O usurpers, make use of the remaining opportunity to return to your countries. I call upon all citizens around the world to refrain from any interaction with the Zionist regime. My final advice to all companies operating within the occupied territories is to leave them before it is too late. We will continue to confront challenges and stand face-to-face, and you shall never again taste security[3].

Statement by Hezbollah Lebanon

Hezbollah Lebanon, in a issued statement, offered condolences on the martyrdom of the Prime Minister and several ministers of the Yemeni government in a terrorist attack by the Zionist regime against the country, declaring: Hezbollah expresses its deepest condolences and sympathy to the brotherly nation of Yemen, its resistant leadership, and at their forefront Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, for the martyrdom of the great mujahid Ahmed Ghalib al-Rahawi, Prime Minister of the Yemeni Government, and a number of ministers as a result of the treacherous and cowardly aggression by the Zionist enemy, which targeted an official civilian session of the Yemeni government in Sana'a. Hezbollah added: This savage aggression is nothing but a new crime added to the file of Zionist atrocities in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and Iran, stained with the blood of children, women, the elderly, and all defenseless civilians. This crime exposes the true nature of the Zionist enemy, which commits the most brutal acts of genocide and starvation against an entire nation before the eyes of the whole world.

The statement continued: Yemen's firm and strong presence in the field of support for Palestine, despite the aggressions and unjust sieges imposed upon the Yemeni people, represents the most genuine and loyal model of patience and steadfastness. It is a source of pride and honor for Yemen to make these great sacrifices in support of Gaza and to break its siege, especially while the entire world remains silent and indifferent, unable to offer any assistance or take any stance against the savage massacres committed by the Zionist regime. The statement concluded by emphasizing: We are certain that this aggression will only increase the determination and steadfastness of the Yemeni people, and their courageous leadership will not be deterred from their true position of continuing support for Gaza and its resistant nation. The pure blood of these martyred leaders will remain a burden upon the Zionist regime and a symbol of steadfastness and resistance[4].

Statement by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, in a statement condemning the horrific and aggressive crime of the Zionist regime against the oppressed nation of Yemen, stated: The commission of this sorrowful crime has once again lifted the veil from the dark face of Zionist criminals and further revealed the anti-human and expansionist nature of the occupiers of Jerusalem and the aggressors against Islamic lands. Moments before and after a period of restraint in response to the violation of the sovereignty of the Iran through the assassination of the martyred mujahid, Dr. Ismail Haniyeh by the Zionist regime, and in accordance with the country's right to self-defense under the UN Charter, as well as in response to the escalation of the regime's evils with the support of the USA in the massacres in Lebanon and Gaza, and the martyrdom of the great mujahid, leader of the Axis of Resistance and honorable Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, and the martyrdom of the valiant commander and senior advisor of the IRGC in Lebanon, Major General Sayyid Abbas Nilforoushan, the IRGC Aerospace Force launched dozens of ballistic missiles, targeting key military and security objectives in the heart of the occupied territories, details of which will be announced subsequently.

It is noted that this operation was approved by the Supreme National Security Council, ordered by the General Staff of the Armed Forces, and carried out with the support and backing of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army and the Ministry of Defense. A warning is issued that should the Zionist regime respond militarily to this operation, which is in full compliance with the country's legal rights and international laws, it will face subsequent crushing and devastating attacks[5].

Statement by the World Assembly of Muslim Awakening

Over the past two years, we have witnessed the aggressive and expansionist actions of the Zionist regime in implementing the Greater Israel project, which, with utmost shamelessness and impudence, has plunged the sensitive and strategic region of the Middle East into chaos and instability, endangering global peace and security. International bodies, due to their excessive dependence on hegemonic powers, lack the will and capacity to restrain such a rogue and rebellious regime. The continuation of this situation will lead to increasing instability and disorder in the region, to the extent that if such actions are not controlled and managed, global peace and security in the geostrategic region of West Asia will pose a fundamental challenge to the global economy, at which point no power will be able to restrain, control, or manage it.

Unfortunately, the double standards of international bodies, the silence and ineffectiveness of the UN Security Council, and the silence of Arab states in failing to provide effective and serious support to the cause of Palestine have further exposed the grounds for aggression and expansionism. In recent days, this aggressive regime once again attacked the people of Yemen, assassinating the Prime Minister and several ministers of the Sana'a government. These government officials, while conducting a routine visit to a performance evaluation workshop, were subjected to a savage attack and martyred. We offer congratulations and condolences on the martyrdom of our dear brother Ahmed Ghalib al-Rahawi, the Prime Minister, to the resistant and mujahid nation of Yemen, particularly to our dear brother Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.

The criminal Zionist regime, which has fallen into deep despair and desperation regarding the Yemen issue and lacks any clear operational objective, faces a proud, brave, and faithful nation committed to the cause of Palestine, which has risen with all its being against greed, expansionism, aggression, and crimes against humanity in support of the oppressed Palestinian people. This is because the innocent, oppressed people of Gaza, who over the past two years have endured waves of torture and suffering including genocide, displacement, repeated bombings of homes and dwellings, refugee camp tents, urban infrastructure destruction, cutoff of all basic amenities, complete siege, blockage of humanitarian aid, and more—whose only crime is being Palestinian—have received comprehensive support and backing from the revolutionary people of Yemen, thereby igniting a small light of hope for the people of Gaza in the so-called civilized yet savage West and its false defenders of human rights. They were subjected to a savage and criminal attack by a regime that is a human terrorist and disregards the fundamental principles of international law and basic human rights. Excessive pressure by the Zionist apartheid regime is being exerted on the Yemeni people to make them regret their support for the oppressed people of Gaza; however, such inhumane crimes have only further strengthened the resolve and determination of the Yemeni people against this child-killing and criminal regime.

The Zionist regime's assumption that it can commit crimes and rampage without any response is false. Human experience and divine laws throughout thousands of years of history have shown that governments founded on oppression, tyranny, force, and unilateralism cannot endure. Just as global public opinion has now awakened to the sinister motives and objectives of the genocidal Zionist regime, causing it to suffer a severe defeat in managing public perception, in the not-too-distant future, the hand of divine retribution will emerge and deliver the deserved punishment for these historical crimes. The World Assembly of Muslim Awakening, while condemning the Zionist crime of martyring brother Ahmed Ghalib al-Rahawi, the Prime Minister, and several ministers, declares to the mujahid people of Yemen and to our dear brother Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi that the resistance of Muslim nations, the unity and cohesion of the Islamic Ummah, and comprehensive support for the oppressed nation of Gaza are the only path to liberation from the yoke and domination of the Zionists and their international supporters[6].
