Wikivahdat
Wikivahdat (Encyclopedia of the Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought) is a digital encyclopedia (Internet, electronic, virtual) and affiliated with the World Forum for the Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, which has started its activities in the field of unity culture of the Islamic Ummah and in the field of rapprochement of Islamic religions. In fact, "wikiavahdat" is a virtual encyclopedia that aims to express concepts, words, terms, personalities, institutions, books, etc. in the field of unity and rapprochement of Islamic religions. In other words, Wikivahdat is the sponsor of all the heritage produced in this field. In this regard, the words that are necessary to understand this goal will be mentioned in this encyclopedia. The encyclopedia, considering two general levels of audiences as well as specific audiences, produces content related to the category of Islamic unity and approximation between Islamic religions. Vocabulary and terms in scientific, historical, geographical, jurisprudential, principled, persons, beliefs, etc. can be presented and designed in Wikivahdat. Wikivahdat's approach is not to stir up issues that cause controversy, but to avoid giving personal opinions and leaving the reader to judge scientific and historical differences. It also tries to provide material from authoritative sources among the sects (Shiites and Sunnis).
Purpose of formation
In fact, creating a single Islamic nation (Ummah), which is one of the basic principles and policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the great founder of the Islamic Revolution, namely Imam Khomeini and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei. In this regard, one of the developmental missions of the World Forum is the Approximation of Islamic Religions. This encyclopedia has been created with the aim of promoting and disseminating this important issue in cyberspace by which the audience of any age and spectrum can meet their information needs and, if desired, they can help us to increase and improve the articles.
Significance
Regarding the necessity of creating an electronic encyclopedia of Wikivahdat, three important points should be mentioned:
First, due to the increasing use of cyberspace (especially among the younger generation and due to some limitations in the physical use of resources) entering this space and provide scientific and cultural services are highly efficient and recommended.
The second issue is the existence of many difficulties in presenting scientific content (books, articles, journals, etc.). That is, if such content was created, it would reach the reader with various difficulties.
The third issue is that the wiki template in presenting content is up-to-date and attractive to the general public.
Of course, it should be noted that the content produced in such semi-specialized encyclopedias does not exist in wikipedia, and the content contained there is either insufficient and incomplete, or some of the entries have not been addressed at all. Policies
Considering the differences between the opinions of thinkers of different Islamic sects, the authors intend to use first-hand sources accepted by the two major Islamic sects (Shia and Sunni) as much as possible. In the meantime, the authors should refrain from any unscientific comments based on nervousness and blind support, and the content that is being uploaded on the domain of Wikivahdat, according to the policy of maximum unity among Muslims.
Another main policy of the authors in Wikivahdat is using the maximum amount of specialized content produced in the field of unity of the Islamic Ummah.
