Personal Details

Sayed Mohammad Akbar Agha is one of the former leaders of the Taliban and a close associate and devotee of "Mullah Akhtar Mansour", the former leader of the Taliban, and is currently still in contact with the Taliban group.

Biography

Sayed Mohammad Akbar Agha studied in Pakistan and completed his advanced religious studies in schools of "Deoband" in Pakistan. He studied for two years at Darul Uloom Haqqania under the supervision of Mawlawi Samir ul-Haq, the principal of the school.

During the war against the Soviet communists, he had a major jihadist front alongside Mawlawi "Younis Khalis" along with many Taliban elders, including former Taliban leader Mullah Akhtar Mansour.

"Sayed Mohammad Akbar Agha" was considered on par with "Mullah Akhtar Mohammad Mansour" during the Taliban's struggle for power in Afghanistan, and during that time there were four major fronts of the Taliban, with one front line under his command and another line under the command of the former Taliban leader. He shared command of the Taliban group with Mullah Akhtar Mansour in Kandahar. Mawlawi Hibatullah Akhundzada was also on the same front alongside Mansour. Before his imprisonment, Mullah Akhtar Mansour would come to his home, and they worked closely together and had affection for one another, meeting and conversing daily.

After the fall of the Taliban, he went to Pakistan and engaged in business activities there. He was arrested and imprisoned there by the Pakistan Army Intelligence Organization and then handed over to the Americans, who brought him to Afghanistan and imprisoned him in various prisons, including National Security prisons and "Pul-e-Charkhi" for five and a half years. He was then released on the condition of not leaving Kabul during the presidency of "Hamid Karzai".

Views

No Engagement in War

War should not continue in Afghanistan, although he claims many ideas and plans were not implemented.

Method of Establishing Peace in Afghanistan

To end war and bloodshed and establish peace, representatives from all ethnic groups of Afghanistan should form a council named "Afghanistan Salvation Council", composed of individuals and groups not accused of instigating civil wars in Afghanistan.

He seeks to prevent foreign interference, including from Muslim countries such as Uzbeks, Tajiks, Al-Qaeda, and other countries and groups, and also believes that infidels should not interfere in the wars and affairs of Afghanistan.

Incident of ISIS and Taliban Conflict in Zabul

This conflict was between the Taliban and opponents of Mullah Akhtar Mansour led by Mansour Dadullah, a former member of the Taliban, which was declared under the name of ISIS. It was a kind of internal Taliban conflict between Dadullah's forces and Akhtar Mansour, in which some ISIS members supported Dadullah, and eventually the Taliban eliminated them.

Taliban

There are two types of Taliban. One type are those present on the war front, and another group who are engaged in studies. The Taliban who are studying mostly study at Darul Uloom Haqqania, and Mawlawi Samir ul-Haq is the principal of this school; for this reason, they say he is the spiritual father of the Taliban, but it cannot be said one hundred percent that Samir ul-Haq is the spiritual father of the Taliban; because Taliban members also study in other Darul Ulooms in Karachi and other regions of Pakistan.

Nation of Afghanistan

The nation of Afghanistan wants peace, and the Taliban also believe in the vote of the nation. The nation wants foreigners to leave this country and not interfere in the internal affairs of Afghanistan. We do not want foreigners to be present in this country in the guise of Al-Qaeda, ISIS, and other foreign groups. Afghanistan needs a system based on the will of its Muslim people. The Taliban want an Islamic system and have waged jihad against the Russians for years to establish an Islamic system, and with the help of God, they defeated the Russians, and it is the legitimate right of the Taliban that they want foreigners to leave the country.
