Sirajuddin Haqqani is one of the senior leaders of the Taliban and deputy to Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada. He is the son of Jalaluddin Haqqani, one of the most famous leaders of the jihad against the Soviets and the second-in-command of the Taliban, and leader of the powerful Haqqani network. In the new Taliban government, he holds the position of Minister of Interior.
Biography
He is the eldest son of Jalaluddin Haqqani of the Taliban and one of the most famous leaders of the jihad against the Soviets and one of the forming groups of the Quetta Shura as the Taliban leadership council.
