Biography
Sakhr al-Taifi played a role in managing training camps inside افغانستان. Al-Taifi was among the facilitating leaders of القاعده operations in Afghanistan. He was involved in transferring fighters from پاکستان into Afghanistan and training طالبان insurgents and teaching them how to construct improvised explosive devices. From NATO's perspective, Sakhr al-Taifi was the number two man of Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan, and in this case, it can be said that NATO has removed a significant target from its path[2].
Death
NATO announced that Sakhr al-Taifi was killed in an airstrike in Kunar Province on Sunday, 7 Khordad 1391 (May 27, 2012).
