Biography

Dariush Rezaeinejad was born on 29 Bahman 1356 SH, in the city of Abdanan.


Education

Rezaeinejad completed his elementary and guidance education in a accelerated manner due to his extraordinary talents, and finished his secondary education in Tir 1373 SH, in the field of Mathematics. During this period, he achieved first place in the provincial scientific competitions of Ilam. He was also admitted to the university in Mehr 1373 SH, in the field of Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering specialization. Although he was admitted to several engineering fields at reputable universities in Tehran, Isfahan, Shiraz, etc., he entered Malek Ashtar University of Technology in Isfahan based on his own choice. Despite his innate genius in workshop and laboratory affairs, which is a characteristic of all geniuses and inventors, he was also very organized and diligent in academic study, admission, and execution. While learning and gaining experience in his field, he was highly skilled in the use of computers and computer sciences. With such abilities, he was able to graduate as the top student of his university in seven semesters with first rank. Immediately after graduation, he began working as a researcher in important research and scientific centers of the country. In the field in which he worked, he had great ability and placed his genius and effort in the path of serving his homeland. In the very first year of starting work, he was admitted to the Master's exam of 1378 SH, in the field of Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering specialization, at Urmia State University and continued his education in the Master's period[1].


Executive Activities

  • Representative of Shahid Beheshti University in executive affairs and cooperation with the Atomic Energy Organization from Bahman 1380 SH, until the time of martyrdom;
  • Member of the Iranian Nuclear Society from Bahman 1383 SH, to Bahman 1385 SH;
  • Head of the Radiation Applications Group from Mehr 1384 SH, until the time of martyrdom;
  • Member of the Central Laboratory Council of the University from Mordad 1385 SH, to Mehr 1386 SH;
  • Member of the University Technology Council from Azar 1381 SH, to Mehr 1386 SH;
  • Member of the Technical and Engineering Specialized Committee of the Evaluation Board from Bahman 1386 SH, until the time of martyrdom;
  • Advisor to the Islamic Republic of Iran in the SESAME project from Khordad 1383 SH until the time of martyrdom;
  • Organizer of four scientific committees and educational workshops from 1385 SH, until the time of martyrdom[2].


Research Activities

During his fruitful service, Rezaeinejad wrote several articles in his specialized field and led and executed many research projects. Following these scientific activities, he was invited by several European universities to continue his education and research activities. Despite all these opportunities, this scientist, due to his love for this land and water and his specific spirits, who always considered himself an example of an Iranian patriot, said no to all of them. While teaching and conducting research activities, he was responsible for executing many research projects at University of Tehran, Shahid Beheshti, and Khwajeh Nasir al-Din Toosi, and at the age of 34, he was active in the position of Deputy of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran. His main specialization was investigating the explosion system in nuclear warheads. He was admitted to Khwajeh Nasir al-Din Toosi University after passing all stages of the PhD exam of 1390 SH, but unfortunately, due to his martyrdom, the opportunity to complete this educational level was not possible[3].


Martyrdom

Dariush Rezaeinejad, on 1 Mordad 1390 SH, in a terrorist incident in Tehran in front of his wife (Shahreh Pirani) and young child (Armita), was shot to Martyrdom by terrorists of the Zionist regime. The grave of this martyr is located in the Martyrs' Garden of Abdanan county, Ilam province.
