Political Experience
He joined the ranks of the "Taliban" movement in Pakistan. Initially, he began his activity as a bodyguard and personal assistant to "Baitullah Mehsud", his former classmate. He gained fame and credibility with his skill and courage in battlefields against the enemies of the movement.
This individual became famous for his combat experiences in the ranks of "Taliban"; as he was the mastermind of the movement's operations against aid convoys of the "North Atlantic Treaty Organization/NATO" pact that took place through the "Khyber" pass of Pakistan.
Within the ranks of this movement, since 2007 AD, following a series of operations he commanded against Pakistani forces, he proved his expertise, the most prominent of which was the kidnapping of 300 Pakistani army troops in south "Waziristan", and this movement exchanged them for a number of its commanders who were in the custody of the Pakistani government.
In August 2009, he took charge of the leadership of Pakistan "Taliban" and became the successor of "Baitullah Mehsud", its former leader, who was killed by a drone missile in his stronghold in south "Waziristan" and on the shared borders with Afghanistan. The Central Intelligence Agency of United States was responsible for guiding this aircraft.
"Hakimullah" survived an aerial attack by a American drone aircraft on a compound in north "Waziristan" on 14 January 2010; because according to his spokesperson's statements in an interview with "Agence France-Presse" news agency, he had left the place before the attack was carried out.
The operation took place a few days after his appearance in a video clip along with "Humam al-Balawi", his Jordanian friend. "Humam al-Balawi" carried out an attack in "Khost" in late 2009 in revenge for "Baitullah Mehsud", during which 7 officers of the American Central Intelligence Agency were killed in Afghanistan.
Pakistani intelligence sources announced that he had around 20 to 25 thousand forces, and although he was also suffering from diabetes, he constantly changed his hideout so that spy equipment could not obtain a trace from him[1].
Pakistani authorities on 2 November 2009, set a reward of $600,000 for anyone who could provide information about "Hakimullah", provided that this information leads to his arrest or killing. Efforts to kill him continued until he was killed in 2013 AD; that is, one day before the peace negotiations that were supposed to take place between the Pakistani government and the "Taliban" movement.
Death
"Hakimullah Mehsud" was killed on 1 November 2013 during an attack by an American drone aircraft, which was guided by the American Central Intelligence Agency[2].
