Biography

Hossein-Ali Nayeri was born in 1335 SH, in one of the cities of Gilan Province.


Judicial Career

Entry into the Judicial System and Initial Responsibilities

Nayeri entered the judicial system in 1359 SH, upon the recommendation of Martyr Beheshti, the then-head of the Supreme Judicial Council. From that time, he was appointed as a Sharia Judge in Evin Prison, which was designated for political prisoners, and amidst the revolutionary transformations of that time, he played a significant role in judicial decision-making.

Head of the Special Courts of Article 49

One of his important positions was heading the Special Courts of Article 49, which handled cases related to public assets and national resources. These courts gained particular importance especially in the period after the Islamic Revolution and played a major role in combating corruption and confiscating unauthorized assets. In this position, he led the handling of various cases in economic and social fields with supervision and precision, and made important decisions in this regard.

Head of the High Disciplinary Court of Judges

Another prominent position of Nayeri was the head of the High Disciplinary Court of Judges, which was responsible for investigating violations by judges and incompetent judges in the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Nayeri served in this position from 1392 SH to 1401 SH.
