In a statement published by these brigades via their Telegram account, it stated: The Martyr Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades congratulate and offer condolences to our people and the masses of our Arab and Islamic nation on the martyrdom of one of their prominent commanders, the Qassami field commander, Hussein Mahmoud al-Nader (Abu Saleh), in the Jdeideh Marjeyoun region in southern Lebanon. Al-Qassam added: Hussein al-Nader was one of the brave Qassami commanders who participated in the battle against the occupiers since last October 7.
Islamic Group Lebanon

The Palestinian Mujahideen Media of Izz ad-Din al-Qassam announced that this martyr Sheikh was one of the field commanders of this movement. The popular Palestinian media "Mashheek" published a picture of this martyr and wrote: To all those who cheer and rejoice... The occupiers' attacks against لبنان, between اهلسنت and شیعیان, civilians and fighters make no distinction... Our heart is with all the people in Lebanon.
