His Political Views

His Views on the Imran Khan Government

He is one of the opponents of the Imran Khan government and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party. He believes that the government has been involved in repeated power outages in various states and gas shortages and increasing electricity and gas costs, makes no effort to solve this problem, and also spends these costs on advertising the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party, and the governors of the states who are affiliated with the current government should resign and be removed [3].

His Views on Saudi Arabia

A ceremony was held in Saudi Arabia to honor him as the Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi in the city of Riyadh organized by the Pakistan Assembly, and Pakistani and Saudi political activists were present. He told the participants: The current political situation in Pakistan has taken a very serious turn and is being negotiated in the name of Democracy. Our society has been destroyed and has become a victim of misguidance. All political and religious parties must play a role in accepting Islamic principles.
For the continuation of democracy in Pakistan, governments must be allowed to complete their terms, but under current conditions, the government and opponents are adopting an undemocratic approach. Let us not have division, which will have dangerous consequences, so we must proceed in accordance with democratic values.
If anyone wants to see the beauty of democracy, they can learn from the members of political parties in the capital Riyadh who are sitting everywhere and listening to opponents but never move towards confrontation in Pakistan. We need to promote such an atmosphere[4].

His Views on Iran

In Esfand 1400 (February 2022), he had a meeting with the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi and stated the following in this meeting: Iran is our neighbor, friend, and brother country, and Iran-Pakistan relations have always remained friendly and brotherly.
Brotherly and Muslim countries should upgrade their level of cooperation and mutual relations for the development and prosperity of the region, while at the same time the capacity of mutual trade between the two countries should be expanded for industrial development[5].

Congratulations by the Secretary General of the World Assembly for Approximation of Islamic Sects

250px|بی‌قاب|چپ Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Dr. Hamid Shahriari, Secretary General of the World Assembly for Approximation of Islamic Sects, congratulated Maulana Hafiz Naeem ur Rahman on his appointment as the Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan through a released message.

The text of the congratulatory message is as follows:

Dear Mr. Maulana Hafiz Naeem ur Rahman, Honorable Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan

Assalamu Alaikum, while congratulating on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Fitr and wishing for the acceptance of prayers and worships during the holy month of Ramadan, I congratulate your worthy selection as the Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan. You, praise be to God, are among the pioneers and vanguards of unity among Muslims in Pakistan, and your activities and speeches aimed at strengthening empathy, unity, and brotherhood among Muslims are valuable and appreciable. The decisive anti-arrogance and anti-Zionist stances of the Jamaat-e-Islami party and the holding of magnificent gatherings and rallies expressing disgust and hatred towards the divisive, sedition-mongering, and inhumane policies of the Global Arrogance and the usurping Zionist regime have always contributed to strengthening and spreading the spirit of resistance among the people of Pakistan and the United Islamic Ummah.

I, as the Secretary General of the World Assembly for Approximation of Islamic Sects, declare my readiness for joint cooperation in the field of Islamic world unity and approximation of Islamic sects in the region.

Also, while offering greetings and abundant salutations to the souls of the late leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami, especially Maulana Qazi Hussain Ahmad (May God have mercy on him), I deem it necessary to thank His Excellency Senator Siraj ul-Haq, the former Amir of this Jamaat, for his scholarly, unity-creating, and compassionate efforts and leadership, and I wish you success. God willing, by Divine grace and with your sincere efforts, we will witness the success and increasing progress of the dear Muslims of Pakistan and the further isolation of America Terrorist and usurping Zionism in the region, and the formation of the United Islamic Ummah and the Union of Islamic Countries to achieve the New Islamic Civilization.

Hamid Shahriari Secretary General of the World Assembly for Approximation of Islamic Sects 25 Farvardin 1403 [7].
