He has made extensive efforts to organize the intellectual and scientific affairs of the Shia in the Hejaz from previous years until now. Currently, he is engaged in teaching advanced courses in Fiqh and Usul at the Qom Seminary.
Biography
He was born in the solar year 1340 (1961 CE) in Holy Mashhad into a family of scholars and piety. His paternal grandfather was among the scholars of the city of Nishapur, and his honorable father, Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Ali Marvi, migrated to Holy Mashhad in his youth. Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Ali Marvi was among the distinguished students of Adib Nishaburi in literature, and among the students of Ayatollah Mirza Mahdi Isfahani in knowledge sciences, and in Fiqh and Usul was an associate of Ayatollah al-Uzma Sayyid Muhammad Hadi Milani.
Teachers
He benefited from the presence of distinguished teachers in various sciences; initially, he learned Persian literature and some related topics from the great adib and scholar, the late Haj Muhammad Sadiq Hashmat. He learned Arabic literature topics from the presence of his honorable father, who was among the distinguished students of Adib Nishaburi, including the books Sharh Qutr, topics from Sharh Razi and Sharh Nizam. He studied surface-level courses up to Rasa'il in the presence of his father, who was among the students of Ayatollah al-Uzma Sayyid Muhammad Hadi Milani, completed Makasib under Ayatollah Mirza Ali Falsafi, and finished Kifaya in the presence of Ayatollah Rezazadeh. Alongside acquiring common Fiqh and Usul books of the Hawzas, he learned part of the book Riyad al-Masa'il and all of Salat wa Zakat by Haj Aqa Reza Hamadani in the presence of his father. He began the advanced level (Kharij) with two years of attendance in the advanced courses of Ayatollah Sayyid Hasan Murtadawi and also participated for two years in the Fiqh and Usul courses of Ayatollah Mirza Ali Falsafi. He gained the most scientific benefit in Fiqh and Usul topics during eleven years of associating with the lessons of Ayatollah Sayyid Ibrahim Alam al-Huda, a distinguished student of Ayatollah al-Uzma Sayyid Muhammad Hadi Milani. For a while, he also benefited from the Usul topics of the late Ayatollah Sayyid Husayn Shams, a strong student of the late Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Hadi Milani. Also, for seven years he benefited from the Fiqh and Usul topics of Ayatollah al-Uzma Wahid Khurasani and for five years from the Fiqh topics of Ayatollah al-Uzma Tabrizi. For a while, he participated in the topics of Ayatollah Sheikh Hasanali Marvarid centered on his book Tanbihat Hawl al-Mabda' wa al-Ma'ad. For one year, he participated in the Philosophy discussion of Dr. Ebrahimi Dinani. He also benefited greatly from the lessons of Ayatollah Sayyid Izz al-Din Zanjani and Professor Jalal al-Din Ashtiani, and for a while in Qom benefited from the topics of Professor Hasanzadeh Amoli and Professor Javadi Amoli. He also benefited scientifically for many years from Allamah Askari.
Scientific and Cultural Activities
He has had numerous scientific and cultural activities, which are as follows:
Teaching
From the beginning, alongside acquiring Hawza lessons, he was engaged in teaching them. He taught books such as Suyuti, Mughni, Ma'alim al-Usul, Usul al-Fiqh, Sharh al-Lum'a, Rasa'il, Makasib, and Kifaya for students of the Khorasan Seminary, Qom Seminary, Razavi University of Islamic Sciences, and Imam Sadiq University. Hundreds of students and university students benefited from his in-person sessions and recorded lessons, and from the solar year 1380 (2001 CE) until now, he has devoted himself to teaching advanced Fiqh and Usul in the Qom Hawza, and alongside that, continued communication with the elites of the Khorasan Hawza at Razavi University of Islamic Sciences and presenting Fiqh and Usul topics. Among his activities in educating Hawza students were teaching Sharh al-Tajrid, Falsafatuna and Iqtisaduna by Martyr Sadr, topics on identifying theological doubts in Holy Mashhad, topics from the book Al-Muraja'at, topics regarding Mahdism, and topics in Ilm al-Rijal in the Qom Hawza. He was introduced as the sample teacher of advanced courses in the fifteenth assembly of teachers of high levels and advanced courses of the Qom Hawza.
Responsibilities
- Member of the International Scientific Committee of the Mission of the Supreme Leader from 25 years ago until now. During this period, by being present in the Mission during the Hajj and Umrah seasons, while conversing with thinkers of the Islamic World from various Islamic and non-Islamic countries, in addition to answering their theological questions and doubts, he also had various debates with scholars of other sects, which has had and continues to have numerous effects.
- Membership in the Supreme Council of Hawzas (Seventh Term).
- Membership in the Society of Teachers of the Qom Hawza.
- Membership in the Book Council of the World Assembly of Ahl al-Bayt.
- Membership in the Board of Trustees of the Faculty of Usul al-Din (First Term).
Educational Outreach Travels
Alongside the aforementioned scientific activities, he undertook numerous educational outreach trips to Arab countries in the region, Southeast Asia, and Europe, and in addition to holding educational sessions for scholars and elites, he maintained his academic connections with Shia and Sunni seminaries and academic institutions, and exchanged views with thinkers of the Islamic world. It is worth noting that one of the outcomes of these trips was a complete familiarity with the educational systems of seminaries and some universities abroad. During the years of the Sacred Defense, he frequently appeared on the battlefronts of truth against falsehood and performed his duty alongside fighters such as Martyr Chamran and Martyr Noorali Shoushtari.
