Abraqiyya, or Abraqiyyah, is a branch of the Zaidiyyah sect.

Abraqiyya or Abraqiyyah were among the companions of Ibad ibn Abraq al-Kufi who disagreed with the "Jarudiyya" sect and did not deny the Two Shaykhs, and also did not accept "Mut'ah" and "Raj'ah"[1]. In some sources, Abraqiyya is introduced as one of the fifteen sects and a sub-sect of the Zaidiyyah sect, who believe in the Imamate of Ali (peace be upon him), Hassan (peace be upon him), Hussein (peace be upon him), and Zayd ibn Ali. The names of the other sects are: Batriyya, Jarudiyya, Salahiyya, Hariziyya (followers of Hariz Hanafi al-Kufi), Sahibiyya, Ya'qubiyya (from Zaidiyyah sects), Uqbayliyya, Yamaniyya, Muhammadiyya, Taliqaniyya, Umariyya, Rakibiyya, Khashibiyya, and Halsafiyya[2].
