Le Mahomet des historiens (The Muhammad of the Historians) is a 2025 Edited volume|collective work edited by Mohammad Ali Amir-Moezzi and John Tolan and published by Éditions du Cerf. The book is a contribution to the academic study of the Prophet Muhammad in historiography and Islamic studies. Unlike traditional biographical works (Sīra), it does not aim to reconstruct a single narrative of Muhammad's life.
