Mohammad Reza Peysepar

Mohammad Reza Peysepar[1] is the editor and one of the admins of the English wikivahdat, which is concerned with all aspects of Islamic unity and Muslim solidarity.

Background

Since 1986, while studying Islamic sciences in Tehran seminaries for several years, Mohammad Reza Peysepar began to study English. He has been constantly engrossed in “English language for theology” (ESP) and translating Islamic books into English.

Education

In this regard, he continued studying English language and literature at the University of Tehran, Iran and later applied linguistics and TESOL at the University of Newcastle, England. He taught general English, IELTS and TOEFL , English for academic purposes, English for theological purposes and research methods in Islamic sciences to the students of Islamic sciences at Qom seminaries and universities.

Career

He had 10 years of teaching Islamic thoughts and preaching in Europe (5 years in Bosnia and 5 years in England). Coming back to Iran, he commenced translating Islamic books into English or editing translated books in the field.
