Tareq Ibrahim Ezzedeen was born on 14 September 1974 in the town of Arrabah in the Jenin Governorate in the [[West Bank]]. He was married and had three sons and two daughters.

He completed his primary and secondary education in the town of Arrabah. He obtained a bachelor's degree in political science from a university while imprisoned in [[Israel|occupying]] prisons, and later obtained a master's degree.
