Sayyid Amirhossein Faghihi was born on 20 Shahrivar 1357 SH, in Shiraz. He spent his elementary to high school education in his birthplace and then went to Urmia University to study Physics (Nuclear specialization). He received his Bachelor's degree in 1379 SH and continued his education at AmirKabir University of Technology, Tehran.<br />
