== Birth and Upbringing ==&lt;br /&gt;
He was born in the year 1320 AH / 1903 CE in Sayyun in Hadramaut province. He grew up there and learned the preliminary sciences and the Quran there. Then, with a group of his classmates and friends such as: Ali Ahmad Bakathir, Muhammad bin Sheikh al-Masawi, Eidrous bin Salem al-Soum and Mustafa bin Salem al-Saqaf, he benefited from the lessons of teachers. His father encouraged him to study and sit at the lessons of scholars and opened the doors of knowledge in all its forms, to the extent that he created a large library for him at home that was full of manuscripts and publications in the fields of literature, religion, sociology, politics, history and other sciences&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;Al-Mashhur, Abu Bakr bin Ali (1419 AH). &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Jani al-Qutaf&amp;#039;&amp;#039;.
