Martyr Sabil Akhlaqi was born on 4 Khordad 1353 SH, in Nikshahr, part of [[Sistan and Baluchestan Province]], in a humble rural house in Khan Mohammad Akhlaqi. Sabil's father, during the deprivation left behind from the era of oppression of the [[Pahlavi dynasty|Imperial government]], would travel to nearby cities to earn a lawful livelihood for his family; therefore, Sabil was considered the only man of the house who had reached rational and belief-based maturity more than his peers.

When Sabil finished his elementary education to help his family, he engaged in farming alongside his mother and did not continue his studies. Despite his young age, after the victory of the [[Islamic Revolution|Islamic Revolution]], Sabil joined the Basij and became active. He participated in guards and assigned missions with all his ability and interest.

== Going to the Front ==
Martyr Sabil Akhlaqi's mother recounts a memory regarding her son's departure to the front: Sabil Akhlaqi came to me in the evening of one of the days of Azar 1364 SH and said: "Mother, I want to be present at the front," but I opposed his words and said that you are my only son and currently, I have no one except you and your three sisters. But he told me: "Mother, under any conditions I must go to the front, and if God wills; I might possibly reach [[martyrdom]]. I love martyrdom.

Our victory in the [[Iran–Iraq War|war]] is due to the martyrdom and shedding of blood by people like me". Sabil said: "If we do not confront the invading enemy, he will dare to violate our country's soil. I will go to the [[Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps|IRGC]] by joining the neighborhood Basij. == News of Martyrdom ==
The father of martyr Sibil Akhlaqi states: After 45 days had passed, one night I had a strange feeling; that night I could not sleep until they called me over the prison loudspeaker and informed me of my release. I asked the Captain: "What was the reason for my release?" He told me: "Your son has attained the rank of martyrdom; you must go and identify him."

They took me to a morgue; when I went to "Sibil"'s bedside, I was able to recognize him by his scent. I did not shed a single tear beside his lifeless body. Those around me said: "Your child has been martyred, why are you not crying?" In response, I told them: "He went to the front to preserve honor; why should I cry? I was satisfied with his departure, even if they did not bring me his body."

Sibil's comrades recount: "Despite Sibil's young age, he always stood bravely in conflicts; and while he had gone to perform prayer, a bullet struck his chest. After his transfer to [[Tehran]], on the 9th of Bahman 1364 SH, he attained martyrdom in the hospital."
