==Background==
Jihadi John was born in Kuwait and had studied computer programming in London. He went to [[England]] at the age of six and settled in the West London area. He became radicalized when, following a trip to [[Tanzania]], he was arrested and English intelligence officials accused him of attempting to go to [[Somalia|Somalia]].
