== Biography ==
Jalaluddin Haqqani was born in 1322 SH / 1939 CE, from Khost Province, of the Zadran tribe of the Pashtun ethnic group of Afghanistan. His father was a wealthy landowner from the Zadran (Khwadran) tribe. He completed his religious education at the Farah Haqqania Islamic Sciences School in Afghanistan with a doctorate degree. == Death ==
According to The Guardian, Jalaluddin Haqqani had been severely ill for the past ten years and no image or message from him was published until 2012 CE.
