'''Hassan Tanoun''' was born in 1916 AD in the city of Wadi Halfa, [[سودان]], and pursued studies as well as memorizing the [[قرآن کریم]]. He benefited from scientific gatherings of scholars, preachers, and sermonizers, and utilized the knowledge of senior scholars such as: Sheikh ''Muhammad Janah'', Sheikh ''Ibrahim al-Gharabawi'', Sheikh ''Abd al-Hafiz al-Shinawi'', Sheikh ''Mahmoud Ibrahim Tira'', Sheikh ''Ali Refaey'', and other scholars and preachers of [[مصر]] and [[سودان]]. He engaged in preaching, guidance, and teaching in various points of [[سودان]] in [[مساجد]], lodges, gatherings, and councils, and had regular lessons and sermons. He was present in most cities and villages of [[سودان]] and invited people to [[خدا]].

== His Journey to Kuwait ==
Then, in the late sixties, he headed to [[کویت]], and the people of [[کویت]] welcomed and hosted him in the best manner. Crowds of [[مسلمانان]] flocked to [[مساجد]], especially youths who loved him, were attached to him, were influenced by his sermons, and [[خداوند]] guided them through him. He spent his life in propagation, guidance, and reform in [[سودان]] and about thirty years in [[کویت]], and resided there until the time of his death.

He stayed during the critical period when [[کویت]] was under threat of occupation by [[عراق]], and did not leave the place due to loyalty to the people.
