==Biography==&lt;br /&gt;
Hassan Jan Muhammad Madani received his primary education at Darul Uloom Numania and then went to Ashrafia University Lahore in 1975, and received his thesis in 1971 from teachers Maulana Alam and Maulana Fazil. He was one of the first 18 students who had the honor of studying from Pakistan at the University of Medina. Since the University of Medina was newly established, only Sharia laws were taught there, and the rest of the sections were established after the Maulana&amp;#039;s return. Maulana Hassan Jan stayed in Medina for four years and during this period memorized the Quran at [[Al-Masjid an-Nabawi]] and performed Hajj 15 times. &lt;br /&gt;

He is a special student of Maulana [[Fazl-ur-Rehman|Fazl-ur-Rehman]]. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Due to his affiliation with the [[Deobandi]] school of thought, he was associated with the [[Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam]]. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
He traveled to many countries including Afghanistan, India, Uzbekistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Egypt, South Africa, and Kenya, and in addition to Dari, Urdu, and Pashto languages, he has complete command of the Arabic language. &lt;br /&gt;

==Religious and Conciliatory Stances==&lt;br /&gt;
Hassan Jan Muhammad Madani was a moderate religious scholar and was strongly opposed to suicide attacks.&lt;br /&gt;

He declared in his fatwas that: Shedding the blood of a Muslim is forbidden for other Muslims.&lt;br /&gt;
