From numerous verses of the Holy Quran and also the history of the life of [[Divine Prophets]], it is understood that the opponents of the Divine Prophets asked them to show a miracle or an extraordinary thing to prove the truth of their claim regarding connection with the unseen world, such as the miracles requested from [[Abraham (AS)|Abraham (Peace Be Upon Him)]], [[Prophet Salih|Salih (Peace Be Upon Him)]], [[Prophet Hud|Hud (Peace Be Upon Him)]], etc. Here we say if [[Prophethood]] is the same as inner discovery and the product of the spiritual austerities of the Divine Prophets and Revelation effused from within them, requesting a miracle from them would be meaningless.
